Maynard James Keenan

Maynard James Keenan, born on April 17, 1964, is an American musician and singer-songwriter best known as the lead vocalist for the progressive metal band Tool, the alternative rock band A Perfect Circle, and the experimental project Puscifer. His work spans a variety of genres, including progressive metal, alternative rock, and industrial rock. Keenan formed Tool in 1990, and the band gained prominence with albums like "Undertow" (1993) and "Lateralus" (2001), which are noted for their complex rhythms, philosophical lyrics, and elaborate artwork. A Perfect Circle, formed in 1999, achieved commercial success with albums like "Mer de Noms" (2000) and "Thirteenth Step" (2003). Puscifer, launched in 2003, showcases Keenan's eclectic style, blending various genres and theatrical elements.
